Kristin Fisher was added to CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team in July of 2021. In her new position she is responsible for covering everything from NASA and the newly created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence in space travel. Kristin was mother of NASA astronauts and an enthusiastic space lover has spent her entire childhood in the field. She worked for five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy during the Biden and Trump Administrations. While covering the two presidential impeachment cases, 2020's Presidential Campaign, as well as both administrations' efforts to limit the outbreak of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other subjects. Kristin was on the road extensively, both with the vice president and president. She was even on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump.
